In addition to seven years of nonprofit development experience, Maggie brings to Earth Species Project a deep passion and sense of curiosity for the natural world. Much of her commitment to nonprofit and fundraising work is inspired by her belief in the power of language and communication to address the pressing issues of our time.
Prior to joining Earth Species Project, Maggie was the Development Manager at the Constructive Dialogue Institute, an organization working to equip communities with the skills to bridge divides. She began her nonprofit career at Out Teach, an organization dedicated to bringing hands-on outdoor learning experiences to elementary students and their teachers, fostering a connection between education and the natural world.
Based in Sunnyside, Queens, Maggie enjoys watching movies, attending the NY Film Festival, reading, cooking, and annoying her cat/BFF, Gini. Originally from upstate New York, she holds a BA in Anthropology and Media Studies from Hamilton College.
