As a neuroscientist and ML engineer, Gagan studied zebra finch social learning and song development at ETH Zurich, using deep learning and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). He later worked on medical ML applications at University Hospital Zurich, and led ML engineering at Earkick, a mental health startup leveraging LLMs. His research interests span animal cognition, vocal communication, and learning processes.
