Research Lead

Emmanuel’s research focuses on how meaning emerges in language.

He follows a border-free scientific approach, integrating methods from linguistics, logic, game theory, psycholinguistics, neuroscience, NLP, ML and AI. His work actively engages with overlapping subject areas, including adult and child language, gestures, music, and communication in non-human animals. He held a research position at CNRS/Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, where he also advised startups, or enjoyed research visits across the world, including in the US, Australia, South Africa and Mexico.
